Wild animals are exactly that, wild.
The Disney-fication of wildlife has made people stupid......................
Be a good symbol for a political party...
(Originally the elephant was chosen to represent strength
in knocking down government corruption.)
Since the Rhinos have now wrecked the old GOP, how about a new Reform Party (with a sea lion with bared fangs as a symbol)?
I remember the Madagascar movies portrayed them as pretty vicious.
My dad had an "incident" with another family of tourists in Yellowstone. Mom and Dad were watching a small herd of buffalo amble across the road - apparently, when you're as big as a large vehicle, you amble pretty much wherever you've a mind to....
Anyhoo, the idiots in the car behind them sent their children out to pose next to the cute little baby buffaloes. Needed some good pics for the folks back home, you see.
Dad jumped out of the car, grabbed the kids and got them into his car just a bit before they were stomped flat by Momma Buffalo. He's been in the woods for all of his life, and he's not one for hyperbole or drama, so when Dad said, "It was a near thing", that meant "There was buffalo slobber on the backs of the kids shirts".
Idiot tourist family flips out and goes after Dad. Park Ranger gets involved. Dad calmly explains the situation to the Ranger, who replies, "Yep. We see this all the time.", then goes and chews on the idiot tourists.
Doubt that they learned anything.
I think you give Disney too much credit. Most people get that way on their own, plus I think stupid is hereditary............
