They are the famous pop open hots. They were only sold in Rochester at one time. My uncle worked there all his life.

They even have them at Aldi now. I believe they are sold outside of NY now.

Are they good?? They're hot dogs...what can one say.

I wouldn't go out of my way for them. I'd grab some real meat like a hamburger first rather than ANY processed meat.

Im rather well traveled and oddly consider myself something of a root beer and hot dog connoisseur if there is such a thing.

What I believe are quite possibly the best hot dogs in the world come from Konops in Stangelville.

Everything Ive tried there is quite good but the hot dogs are exceptional. I have refused to expose myself to any of that mexican weirdness theyve been dabbling in and cant vouch for any of that.
