There are probably tens of thousands of TV episodes from the different decades. Most of them are probably pretty lousy looking back, but of course a few were rather stellar.
The episode on Little House on the Prairie where Mary goes blind, nightmare at 20000 feet on the Twilight Zone, the episode with a huge battle on Game of Thrones, or the Pilot of The Wonder Years are examples of some great episodes.
In your opinion, what are the three greatest TV episodes of all time?
Mchale’s Navy with Tim Conway as Ensign Parker! Man I loved that show...
"I don't care about George Hamilton getting shot by Raymond Burr..."
I showed that episode to my kids last thanksgiving as they had never seen it. Hilarious!
Not the turkeys from commercial turkey farms.
Mark
One of the Twilight Zone episodes surely would be on there. And everyone probably has their own favorite, the Ventriloquist episode, “To serve man” and so on.
Gomer making a citizens arrest on Barney Fife.
Great episode
...and she bakes some mean cookies.
I might well toss a Columbo episode in there as well; except once you’ve seen a mystery, that’s just sort of it.
The Wonder Years always produced quality episodes. The one where Kevins math teacher died was a good one.
The final episode was a bit of a tear jerker as well when we find out Jack dies only shortly after that 4th of July.
Taxi: Where Jim buys all of the TV’s (Delawareans vs. Delawarites)
WKRP: The softball game episode.
MASH: Where they play all the practical jokes on each other and BJ gets his mustache shaved half off.
The Shelter.
Nightmare at 20000 feet on the Twilight Zon was the scariest thing I’ve seen on TV outside of 9/11.
One of the two episodes on Andy Griffith with Jack Nicholson, the one where Aunt Bea sits on the jury and holds everything up by thinking Nicholson’s character is innocent and in the end, it turns out he was.
Gilligans Island when Mary-Ann thinks shes Ginger.
Good one
Heh heh, that was funny!
Thanks for that; there’s probably a half dozen that could be considered.
Warren Oates was in a very good one.
Or that one where they are in a plane, they break the time barrier and they are flying over land when the dinosaurs exist. There are so many.
Star Trek next gen, when Picard lives a whole other life in 20 minutes.
...
That was The Inner Light. I agree with your choice.
Laverne and Shirley, running a restaurant that Squiggy had inherited called Dead Laslo’s.
Plus Alyson Hannigan in leather: commanding, childlike, sexy, scary - all at the same time..
