It is said that in pre-WWII France, mothers were teaching their sons how to dance, while in pre-war Germany, fathers were teaching their sons how to shoot. It took Germany six weeks to defeat France.
That is interesting.
Out of 4 nephews, the two raised by a real man, my brother, I’d want to avoid in a fight at my fat age of 49
Michael Caesar is a BIG ex Ofensive Guard and just tough. Now he is working at the Brooklyn ADA at 26.
Stephen, the younger brother, is a non steroid beast who (though I dont approve at all) pulled a bar door off its hinges. Ex offensive lineman and solid at 240 and tough.
He’s been offered bouncing jobs while in college but mom says no.
The ones raised by my sister and THEIR husbands, forget about it.
One’s a snowflake, him and his hippy fiance.
The other one’s a good kid and is HARD right wing. But would fold like a tent in a fight.
There’s enough real men to raise new real men, I think still. But NOT LIKE the WWII fathers.
My pop was tough. After he punished my brother, he punished me just in case I was in on whatever my brother did, even if it was physically impossible :)
He was a great guy. Didn’t beat us but a slap here and there when we needed it.
