I actually agree with you. Teenage boys are basically chimpanzees. I was one once.
We did. We had three boys and we had a male babysitter, but our children were older than two.
The teen was jailed in a juvenile hall and his name has not been released.
Lamar said she has known the teen for four years and had let him move in with her family after his had kicked him out.

Depends on the individual teenager's personality, character and disposition as well.
Some states, I think, have a category called a "depraved heart" crime, wherein the wilful doing of a dangerous and reckless act with wanton indifference to the consequences, is just as blameworthy, and just as worthy of punishment, when the harmful result ensues, as is the express intent to harm, itself.
That said, the mother made a grave error in judgment letting a boy watch her child without previous careful supervision and instruction.
And the teenager needs some form of retributive justice just to make an impression on his--- well, his depraved heart.
Mommy has a neck tattoo.
I’m sure lots of us guys babysat younger siblings and neighbor kids on occasion. It wasn’t a big deal. I only dropped my sister on her head once. Well, she kinda slid off the bed but the only injury was to pride.
When Mrs. B was in charge and studio wrestling came on you sat down and shut up or she'd show how she handled George "The Animal" Steele.
Yeah, no way a male babysitter and everything would be on video now.
Whoever fathered those children on her must have kept his eyes closed the whole time. The sight of this meth-o-mom would take rust off a car. Is there one father or a different one for each kid? And, do we have to guess who’s paying for their upkeep and this little one’s hospital bills? What was she doing while this brutal moron of a “babysitter” was watching her kids? I’ll bet it wasn’t going to work!
The boy is taking the rap.

Seems the baby sitter lived there.
Begs the question, what kind of woman takes in teenage males to live with them when they already have a house full of their own kids to care for?
Hey! I babysat when I was 16. They were my nieces and nephews though.
“A two-year-old was unresponsive and suffered serious brain injuries...”
Exactly the same happened with the young child of a married couple I work with. Mom didn’t need to work, but I guess the money was just too tempting, along with the career growth potential.
Needless to say, after the ‘event’, she stopped working and had to be a mom full-time. Most people would be guilt-ridden in that situation...but not her.
Who knows?
I've heard too many horror stories of problems with male babysitters.
