The Trumps have reportedly decided on a school for their 11-year-old son, Barron.

The Daily Caller is reporting, based on inside sources, that President Trump and his wife Melania's son will be attending St. Andrew's Episcopal School.

Located in Potomac, Maryland, it is about 15 miles from the White House and costs just under $40,000 in tuition annually, notes Patch.

But, in return, the school of about 580 students offers a low student-to-teacher ratio, small class sizes, and a 100 percent rate of continuation onto college.

In terms of approach, statements on the school's website emphasize research-based instruction.

In December, educational experts speculated in Town & Country magazine that Barron would likely not attend Sidwell Friends, as the Obamas' daughters and Chelsea Clinton had, because in educational consultant Susan Jones' words, "It's not Republican-friendly."

By DC standards, St. Andrew’s is a good school. Lefty, but pretty much all of them here are. Far, far better than Sidwell Friends.

Sidwell Friends doesn’t serve ‘healthy lunches’ according to Michelle’s lights. Somebody posted the fabulous lunches her girls were enjoying at the same time that she was foisting the crap lunches on everyone else’s kids.

As a cradle Episcopalian, and now a traditional Anglican, I can report that Episcopalianism isn’t a religion...at least not a Christian one. It is a Socialist ideology, with the U.N. Millenium Development Goals as its gospel, homosexuality its catechism, and abortion its sacrament. St. Andrews will marinate Barron in its special brand of atheism.

Cohabiting with Russell for 30+ years and bearing a child with him out of wedlock. Yeah, she’s a whore.

Once upon a time in America, an Episcopal school could have been counted on to enact a fairly conservative education.

But the denomination has predominantly gone the way of queers, commies and islamist facilitators.

Make sure his homework is checked, and keep an eye to what’s going on in there.

All the more reason Trump should've sent his son there.

As much as I’d enjoy irritating those people, it wouldn’t have been fair to Barron. I don’t believe most of those kids would have risen above their parents’ politics.

Sidewell probably would have declined his application or maltreated him if enrolled.

What? He isn’t sending his child to the DC public schools like the Clintons and Obamas did? /sarcasm.

How awful! It’s a shame that Barron will be put in this kind of environment. I was hoping he would be homeschooled!

My mother attended Holton Arms, but I have no idea what any of these schools are really like today. I just know that if I were a younger person which school-age kids, I’d do anything to get them private schooling, if I couldn’t home-school.

I don’t know if the Catholic schools are still as good as they were when I was young and had friends attending them, but I would probably lean that way, despite not being Catholic; or toward some other religiously-oriented school.

Why is this even being discussed publicly? It is nobody’s business.

Exactly. I have a lot of friends with kids there, and several of my Sunday school students went there. One of the goalies I know has a wife who teaches there. Could do a lot worse. Definitely more sane parents than Sidwell or GDS.
