Hollyweird critics giving scathing reviews makes me wonder first if the movie has conservative values. After all, they just canceled Tim Allen’s profitable show because it was conservative.

It’s possible “Arthur” is lousy. I’ll probably read more, though, to see if anything else is going on.

I concur...perhaps it is a stinker, but I’m not going to rely strictly on the word of Hollywood critics. Arthurian legend was not written as a screenplay, and so it is possible, or perhaps even likely, that strict adherence to the stories may not meet the standards of millenial critics who have never read the literature.

Although the (long ago) movie “Gods and Generals” received several bad reviews, some hysterically denouncing it (Egbert?), I thought it was great. My whole family enjoyed it. Thus, I tend to be skeptical about reviews.
