I don’t know anything about that, but I do know that the Varsity and Venturing programs are very weak, not well thought out, and offer very little to engage 14 to 18 year olds.
I say this knowing full well it is the program you put around the core curriculum that matters.
With Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts, there is so much skill based curriculum that it carries itself.
With Venturing, you have to decide WHAT KIND of crew you are going to be - search and rescue, rocketry, maker, police/fire, hardcore hiking, climbing, etc.
It isn’t a part of the curriculum, and it is very hard to recruit on that kind of basis, since almost everything you do has to be a consensus decision. Consensus is difficult.
It’s the Mormon bashers have repented
I know of no evidence that the Mormon bashers exposed in reply #76 EVER 'repented' of their highly biased attitudes they had espoused.
