Last Man Standing has finally fallen.
Tim Allen’s sitcom has been canceled by ABC after six seasons.
The long-running comedy has been something of an anomaly. Due to modest ratings, Last Man Standing has been considered “on the bubble” for a renewal every season since it launched in 2011. Yet the Friday night show always managed to squeak into another year — until now.
The show’s final season averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49.
No word yet on Last Man Standing‘s time slot companion on Friday nights, Dr. Ken, which is also on the bubble for a pickup.
More anti-white male behavior from the hard left. Past time to turn off mainstream entertainment entirely.
Love Last Man Standing. I wait for it on Netflix every year. Perhaps Netflix will pick it up??

I'd never heard of it. I've run across so much on the internet that I'd wish I'd never heard of (e.g. the Kardashian Koven), that when I see something I'd never heard of, I feel like all is well in my world after all. :)

LMS is owned by Fox not ABC, so it may not be off TV, just off ABC because it’s too expensive when they don’t own it.
Love that show.
I find this announcement very disappointing. I really liked the show -one of the best sitcoms on TV. 8 p.m. on Friday was a bad time slot. Hopefully someone else will pick it up.
The ONLY show we loved...maybe Tim Allen will come up with something new.

I strongly believe that most shows should end after 5-7 seasons. my reasoning is that between the 5th and 7th season they loose something and I would rather see the talent working on a new project.

You make a good point...I figured the 3 girls were getting older and would fly the coop soon...just thought it would Last another season or 2
