KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City woman says she was forced to urinate in a cup on a United Airlines flight and now she wants to know why the flight attendant didn't just let her go to the restroom.
Nicole Harper tried to use the restroom on United flight 6056 on April 10th. A flight attendant ordered her back to her seat. The seatbelt sign was still illuminated.
"I said 'I'm going to need to use the restroom or I'm going to need a cup.' They handed me the cup which was about this big and I was like 'I'm going to need a second cup.'" said Harper.

Maybe she should have just flooded the cabin then next time they would have let her go when she said she needed to go.
Maybe United should start stocking chamber pots under the seats
What is wrong with United? Their culture went from “Fly the Friendly Skies” to “Fly with Marquis de Sade”
On every flight I’ve taken, after the “Fasten Seat Belts” sign goes off, the rest rooms get busy quickly with both adults and their children. For this lady, I recommend ‘Depends’.
Key sentence...........
The seat belt sign was still illuminated.
No sympathy. The seatbelt sign was on. The passenger knew she had an over active bladder so should have worn a diaper.
I’d like to know how the heck SHE was able to pee in a cup with her seatbelt secured. Or is she a HE?
So funny! Still laughing!
Why didn’t she use the restroom as a precautionary measure when she knew they were close to landing?
When you have such a condition you learn to plan ahead to protect yourself.
My travel motto is never pass up the opportunity to use a clean restroom. Before it’s urgent or too late.
I don’t think this is the airlines fault at all.
Sorry, not buying it. I can just picture her around a kitchen table with her husband or a friend cooking up a way to get money and they came up with United (who is an easy target now). She must be desperate for cash to pee in front of others, that is just disgusting. They called her bluff and gave her a cup, of course she will be smiling all the way to the bank.
I’ve been on over 1000 flights and its has never been a problem for me to follow the rules. Yeah, my bladder is a problem at times too.. When you’re not supposed to get up, you’re not supposed to get up. If the woman wants her own rules, she needs to get her own plane.
This is nonsense. If I were the flight attendant, I would have taken the woman’s comments of “I guess I am just going to have to use a cup.” as being a smartazz reply.
If the flight is just about to land do they allow passengers to move about the cabin? No. They have to have rules. If this woman cannot follow them, she shouldn’t fly.
Clearly, this woman wants money or to bring attention to herself.
“Maybe United should start stocking chamber pots under the seats”
Silverleaf you win the internet today LOL
After 9-11 the rules changed.
The flight crews became like Homeowner Association Board members:
Power mad bullies that know they have you between a rock and a hard place.
They got used to it.
Now they pay the piper.................
Sounds like United is planning on getting rid of their restrooms and replacing them with ticketed seats.
And there will be a charge for handing out cups to pee in, or else wear your own adult diaper.

You all know that’s psychosomatic don’t you? Kinda like when a water main breaks in your area and there’s no water then you are suddenly thirsty for no reason. Can’t explain why this happens but it does.
Think back to when you guys were kids, even the “Brady Bunch” made light of this. Everyone piled into the station wagon on a family vacation, car packed ready to go, lights turned off, house locked up then everyone realizes “I have to go” and everyone gets out and makes a trip to the bathroom!
I was on a flight last week and noticed the number of passengers who needed to use the toilet immediately after takeoff.
Why don’t people go to the toilet before boarding?
Then the flight attendants need to change their title and their uniform.
Simple solution. Go to the bathroom before you go on board the plane. Don’t take any drinks of any sort while flying.
See my post 14...remember the “Brady Bunch”?
