I already donated. I think some folks are still sore about the Election Day fiasco. Kinda hard to justify that much money when there was no backup server ready to be auto switched over to. I’m not complaining; just saying that might have something to do with the slower freepathons.

Maybe if the owners let everyone know exactly what it costs per year for all the bandwidth and equipment upkeep; the people would loosen their wallets more.

As another math major (BS 77). There are other issues, as in my non math major wife and tax issues exceed my income the first 8 months of the year. After that I usually donate to FR. My website of choice.

That being said, I recently posted a CNN narrative and in my opinion was viciously attacked for doing so. I resorted to accusing one poster of going “Berkeley” for wanting to get Jimbo to shut me down.

One law of war is to “Know thy enemy”. I believe it is best to know what the left is posting, especially when they can sell a seeming valid point.
