Some spooky things are happening at serial killer Ted Bundy’s childhood home

Unexplainable things happened in the Tacoma house where serial killer Ted Bundy grew up.

So many things, in fact, that a contractor hired to remodel the home penciled Bible scriptures on the walls and brought in two pastors to bless the house.

“I’m not one to believe a lot of this stuff, but this house made me a believer,” said Casey Clopton, the contractor.

A cry for help appeared on a window as crew members worked in the basement. Heavy furniture wedged into a wall toppled over. Doors and cabinets seemed to open themselves.

It all started in September, when David Truong bought the 1,400-square-foot home with plans to redo and flip it.

He didn’t research its history, so he didn’t know the local lore or who had lived there.

The little blue house was built in 1946, the same year Bundy was born in Vermont. The Bundy family moved into the home in 1955, records show.

Louise Bundy was no longer living there in 1989, when her 42-year-old son was executed in Florida after being convicted of killing two sorority sisters and a 12-year-old girl.

Investigators linked him to at least 30 slayings, though they believe there were dozens more. His killing spree started in 1974 in Washington and continued for years across 11 states.

So, what is more likely? Supernatural interference with a remodeling job, or coming up with a fairy story of ghostly posession to gin up interest for a house flip?

I've actually been to that house and met Louise Bundy back in the early 70's - she baby sat for some friends of mine who lived a block over. We had coffee and cake in her living room - this was a few years before young women started to go missing.
Ted Bundy was raised thinking Louise was his sister, and told his grandparents were his birth parents due to the shame of illegitimacy at the time.

Haunted or not, living in Ted Bundy’s old home would creep me out. You’d always be aware of it.

I have a friend that was renovating an old house built in the 1920s. All kinds of weird haunts going on. She had read somewhere that when things are disturbed, as during a remodel, the ghosts get unsettled.

I watched a TV movie quite a long time ago about Bundy.

It followed a bunch of Seattle cops who were trying to catch him. Fairly interesting but it once struck me that those guys were taking all the credit for catching him when they actually had very little to do with it.

A cop in Pensacola Florida was the one who finally got him and they didn’t even give his name.

How old was she when she gave birth to Bundy?

That house should have been demolished years ago, and the foundation razed. Better safe than sorry. Remember the story of the Amityville house?

Is this the house he lived in when he was killing the kids or is it just the house he grew up in? Or are they one in the same?

this house made me a believer,” said Casey Clopton, the contractor

He thought ghosts were only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for him.

She died in 2013 at age 88, which makes her 21 when Ted was born in 1946 at a home for unwed mothers. Another well known person who was raised in a similar fashion, (sister is actually mother) Jack Nicholson.

It’s the house he grew up in, never lived there as an adult that I know of.

I don’t like to think about Ted Bundy.
He was truly evil.

Ted Bundy once hinted that his victims numbered in the triple digits, although he also said he had lost count. No one really knows how many.

I wouldn’t doubt that demons reside in that house...

The ghosts want the remodelers to dig deep enough to discover their remains.....
