So I read a lot of stories about this incident. This week is the first I heard of any ambitions to be a pilot.
The school is insane. I know of other organizations that give posthumous honors, but it’s usually to a member who is on the path to earning the honor, not to someone who might have told his mom that what he wants to maybe think about doing, especially when his life trajectory is nowhere near the ability to ever attain such a goal.

My kid has been working hard and spending money to earn a degree in aerospace engineering with a full year left to go. All he had to do was beat up a white Hispanic and get himself shot and he could have gotten the degree for free.
