That’s how I see it too. I can understand how it would have been depressing to hear a lot of conservatives say Trump was finished. I don’t recall going through that, which leads me to believe I must have spent the worst of those days on r/The_Donald. Nothing fazes them over there; they just go harder pro-Trump when anything negative comes up. They’re a very bracing crew.
I’ve tried to tell a few of our resident gloom and doomers that they’re driving people away. Nothing penetrates. They may not be entirely behind Trump on a good day, so bad news just gets them fired up.

It was shortly after that when I discovered r/The_Donald. It’s a totally different atmosphere over there. No room for doom and gloomers - they are quickly run off. I still prefer FR for the more substantive dialogue. Over there, it’s more about one-liners and memes. But it’s a fun place to go, especially if you need your spirits lifted.
