Agree or not, give them credit for not demanding 373 clicks to see the whole list!

I’m not much for deep cuts when it comes to the Stones. “Moonlight Mile”, “Satisfaction”, “Tumbling Dice”, “Wild Horses” - actually most of the stuff from “Sticky Fingers” and “Exile On Main Street”.

I bought Voodoo Lounge when it was released as I did with Bridges To Babylon in the 90’s and they were both okay I guess.

As I said I’m a big fan of the albums from England’s Newest Hit Makers through Exile On Main Street.

Even Sticky Fingers, Goats Head Soup and It’s Only Rock And Roll are pretty good albums. I remember being quite disapointed in Black And Blue when it came out in 1976. Hand Of Fate and Memory Hotel were alright though.
Songs like Hot Stuff, Cherry Oh Baby and Hey Negrita really pissed me off.

And then the Some Girls album with the disco songs on it...Tatoo You was a nice album though and then they followed that up with a real stinker the Emotional Rescue album.

I’ve always told my friends that the only reason I ever bought any Stones album after Exile On main Street is simply my loyalty to a band that I’d listened to since 1963.

I did go ahead and read the article. And while I always knew the Stones were mainly a cover band grandstanding off of blues greats - this article just confirmed that for me. They’re just not that original.

Keith would probably be the first to agree with you.

They had about 20 absolute killers, then it kind of falls off a cliff.

Some Girls was their last great album. They actually did make disco sound cool. And “Shattered”, was rap before there was rap.

You know, I can’t deny the fact that I played the crap out of Some Girls in 1978 when it came out. You couldn’t go to a nightspot, party or turn on your local FM rock station without hearing it (and I was a FM rock jock in those daze).

I guess what I’m trying to say is their early albums up to EOMS are the most enduring. I almost never anymore listen to Some Girls or Steel Wheels or Voodoo Lounge but put on Out Of Our Heads, 12 X 5, Beggar’s Banquet or Let It Bleed and I’m in rocknroll Heaven.

Hmmm, listening to The Doors at the moment but I just might reach over and grab Aftermath for the next album...pour another Yuengling...paradise!!!

Give Justin Biebur a little more time and he’ll have 373 classic songs also ...

I saw them back in 1989 - at the old Foxboro Stadium in Massachusetts - they really put on a great show.
Never a huge Stones fan - but they are great showmen.
Living Color opened for them - black dudes playing some serious hard rock.

Saw them back in ‘75, I think- Black & Blue Tour - my personal fave album. Also saw the Tattoo You tour (80s?)

I don’t listen to them anymore and could care less about the group.

It should be "couldn't care less".
