Bill O'Reilly says his former protege at Fox News, Jesse Watters, will continue to make a series of public appearances with him this year. Fox News has other ideas.
O'Reilly has been actively promoting upcoming dates for "The Spin Stops Here Tour," a variation of the political comedy shows he has performed with Dennis Miller, the "Saturday Night Live" alum, since 2011.
Watters joined the tour this year. In March, he appeared with O'Reilly and Miller at a show held in Omaha.
For days on "No Spin News," the podcast that has become his primary outlet since he was ousted at Fox News, O'Reilly told listeners that Watters will appear at upcoming shows, which include stops in Baltimore, Tampa and Las Vegas.
"We're going to do the tour," O'Reilly said last week. "The tour stays. Miller and Watters and me."
But a source close to the situation said that Fox News is working out contractual issues to get Watters off the tour.
Both Fox News and Robert Barnett, Watters' agent, declined to comment. Representatives for O'Reilly and the tour did not respond to multiple inquiries.
O'Reilly continued for most of this week to promote Watters' planned appearances on the tour. But on Thursday, while encouraging listeners to purchase tickets to the shows, O'Reilly left Watters' name out.
"Miller and I will make it worth your while," O'Reilly said.
The prospect of Fox News' on-air talent appearing alongside O'Reilly is clearly something the network's brass would like to avoid.

FOX will win this one as they sign Jessies check
Fox News [death watch]
Sad, talk about falling from Grace, MSNBC has more viewers that his "podcast". If her were serious he do a free streaming show until he figured out how to back a comeback, or he will certainly wither on the vine.
Yep. It’s too bad.
It’s getting creepy isn’t it?
I watched next to nothing of HANNITY, but find myself very concerned for his contract. If Sean goes, I think FOX News side is done. Already we’re watching exclusively FOX Business during the day when home, and DVR every Lou Dobbs program in the evening.
Hannity is all they have left, soon the Murdoch Liberal brothers will replace him with Tomi Lahren

Who would pay money to see Bill O’Reilly anyway? I find nothing bold or fresh about him. Watters shouldn’t waste his time there.

FOX will win, but Watters became known on BOR’s Factor and probably feels he owes BOR.
Fox News is still on the air?
Tucker Carlson
All Tucker does is talk to liberals. I don’t want to hear what liberals have to say.
Your right I get tired of listening to every off the wall liberal scum braying like the donkeys they are. Tucker give it a rest. Half the time your show is on mute!
That is so he can look on incredulously, which is about all he does.
” I dont want to hear what liberals have to say.”

I do-——we have to know the enemy.
Your attitude reminds of the college kids who won’t listen to what conservatives have to say.

Dennis Miller popped up last night as guest host on TCM, showing monster movies apparently each Thursday throughout the month of May - surprising since TCM has gone so far left lately, such as the upcoming Alex Baldwin co-hosting Essentials on Saturday Night along with David Letterman - I used to tune on for the first five minutes of the show to hear the commentary, then skip the movie - from here on in, I’ll be skipping the first five minutes of the show, and maybe watching the movie.....
“”All Tucker does is talk to liberals. I dont want to hear what liberals have to say.””
At least he starts the hour that way and I don’t know what he does for the rest of the hour as I turn him off at that point. Sure glad I’m not alone....

As I told TexasCrusin, I agree....I don’t even stay tuned when the first guest is a liberal - I’m gone at that point.
He needs to rearrange the show, and cut back on the snowflake guests. I’d do all the intelligent stuff first, then give maybe the last 5 minutes to interviewing one of the hard left basket cases. It was fun the first few times, but it’s kind of a turnoff now.
