Again, it may not have been the ‘fat cat’ who was behind the registry. It’s kind of hard to argue with a bride about her wedding; and might have been very tricky for the groom to try and ‘shut her down’.
I don’t know anything about these people. Apparently, as you’ve told us, they’ve had the good grace take the embarrassment offline.
Unless he’s an elected official who answers to me, or is blatantly breaking the law in a way that affects me, I’m not going to judge little goings-on like this in someone else’s life.
