I love panzanella. It's in my top 5 favorite salads.

Here's another:

Caprese Salad

Tomatoes, cut into slices
Fresh mozzarella, cut into slices
Thinly sliced basil
Olive oil
Salt
Dash of oregano.

Serve with Italian or French bread.

That looks interesting and pretty, but too much moz for my taste. At least for a salad.

Thinner and fewer moz slices. And, I go for a spicier oil/vinegar dressing, instead of just oil and oregano.

My in-laws are Italian & when we visit this summer she will make that delicious salad. That picture is gorgeous!

We eat a lot of the caprese salad too. I don’t care for whole basil leaves so I stack then and chiffonade them as thin as I can.

Mmm, caprese. We also put a drizzle of rice wine vinegar on (not seasoned).
