ESPN SC6 co-host Michael Smith had a strong reaction Tuesday to a group of Boston Red Sox fans using racial slurs towards Baltimore Orioles center fielder Adam Jones Monday night with one fan throwing peanuts at him.

Nothing preventing Mike from heading to Lagos to take up residence.
To ESPNs Michael Smith: F&$% you.
If he’s right then we can disband the entire civil rights structure of every federal agency since it’s a problem that can never be cured.
Thanks for saving us $$$ Mike!
Including the people of color in that city?
Boston, in one of the deepest BLUE States racist? Impossible!....................
What was the story about them yelling at this ballplayer? Did this player say something before this game to cause this? Or these fans just idiots?
Stay classy, Sox fans.
Why don’t these people leave this hopelessly racist nation for brighter futures is Haiti or Sierra Leone? They never leave.
Come to think of it, this can’t be true.
We have laws against racism. Why aren’t they being enforced by the mayors in those cities?
Michael is one of the ‘Keepers’? oh geeezzz..
Fans are just idiots. There are some in every crowd.
My Irish ancestors were told by foreign landlords, ‘Just take your Catholic brats and GET’ out on the road. We were portrayed as dark, dirty subhumans in films until the mid-50s, though by the 60s we were sharkbait white during the Beach Boys craze. Foreign landlords made mountains of cash on export crops while the potato monoculture genetic crash starved us. My Grandmother, Lillian Doyle, was kept behind on the docks by an Aunt, she told the Mother, “I’m keeping her because then you’ll come back”, they never did. But because I’m white, I’m racist, though I’ve been married to an African-American woman for 35 years.
Another exaggerated,over reported,”racial” incident.
.
I don't know what the word was or who said to whom; but, let me ask this:
If someone throws peanuts on the field, isn't that just because peanuts are sold there so that's what they have to throw? How could that be racist?
Some time ago Adam Jones took to social media to complain about how hard it is to be a negro playing major league baseball. I’m sure this was read by baseball fans outside of Baltimore and when you get to the big league towns like New York and Boston, the more enthusiastic locals will always go for the soft spot.
Waiting....waiting...and will continue to wait for people of darker skin pigment to admit that it perhaps, just MAYBE...once in awhile their kind is capable of being racist, in that they judge people of lighter skin pigment with the same broad brush that they think they have been painted. Come on. let’s agree that both sides, of all shades, can and do at times develope stereotypes, that need contstantly to be broken down, and re evaluated.
Other people deny that Boston is a racist city. Many of them are really denying that Boston is the most racist city in America. Some of them really think there is no racism in Boston or less racism than in other cities.
You can certainly object to how he put it, but if you take his remark as saying everybody is racist, and every city in a country is just about as racist or non-racist as every other city in the country, is there really a problem?
The whole controversy was BS from the beginning.
