Hope it’s good. After Amber, Johnny needs the cash.

I know I’m in a minority, but saw the movies , but still can’t understand the storyline. To me, the movies were a series of disconnected skits of fight scenes , along with skits of Jack sparrow delivery wisecracks and one liners.

Just saying clearly I’m a minority considering what huge hits these movies were. But still can’t tell you what the movies were about.

Don’t know why but I really like this genre and particularly this brand. Stay apolitical Johnny, please.

Is that Christopher Walken?

He barely needs makeup for that role now

"Adoring patrons". Hero worship of an arrogant lefty that plays dress up and beats up girls.

Sad state of pop culture.

I’m with you. Before I saw the first Pirates on DVD I’d heard it was so FUNNY. Well, the Sparrow character was funny-as little used as he was- but the movie was too chaotic. Frantic action, just plain ugly in parts. If they’d wanted to do a realistic, gory pirate film-fine, but lighthearted humor and serious violence don’t mix-IMO. Depp is one of those guys who looks better in period costumes and makeup. He made a good rum-addled, snarky Sparrow.

No thanks.

Jack Sparrow was good for two outings....everything else has become ridiculous

And why would you assume that?

His divorce proceedings say otherwise.

I absolutely loved the first POTC.

I have to get around to seeing the others someday.

That’s pretty accurate. But it’s meant to be a bit of mindless fun.
