About to watch some TV, and along came that single jolt. Hit twitter which went nuts with everyone asking I feel that was an earthquake. Yep. It was. NW of Santa Monica, around a 3.0.

Please no fear for our safety. My son walked in and I asked him if he felt it. “Nope.” Got his drink, left the room. So this was no big scary event, clearly. I am always scared that a little jolt is a precursor to something stronger later.
