That’s what I’m talking about. These same liberals and women talking about woman power and all that, were disdainful of Sarah Palin being nominated for VP, as an example of a conservative woman on the national political scene.
If they were intellectually honest about all of that, they would be celebrating and supportive of all women in politics, even if some such women are Republican.
Ditto how the liberals have had disdain for people such as Clarence Thomas and S.C. Senator Tim Scott. Again, if they want to promote the rising of black people into high positions, they should celebrate having a black US Senator, even if he’s Republican, and a black Supreme Court justice, even though he’s on the conservative side.
Off topic, but speaking of Tim Scott, he was elected by a mostly white electorate, in a state of the old South. A state which liberals stereotype as a backwards relic of racism and discrimination and all that. White voters put him in office in that allegedly racist state.
