You forgot the usual fr cop suckers justifications:
  1. We don't know the whole story
  2. You want the police to be able to home to their families at night don't you
  3. If the kid didn't want to get shot he shouldn't have driven toward the cop (Oh wait he was a passenger)
  4. Etc.

Yep.

If cops roll up, you better not try and flee the scene. It’s been standard procedure for years for a cop to claim the fleeing vehicle posed a threat to their safety which prompted them to open fire.

And courts allow this.
