Looks to be a fruitless year. :-(
Hard freeze this past week, about 22F. This morning, we woke up to no power and a few inches of snow, and still falling...sideways. Our neighbor measured 8” at her place, between us & the county road: I called in & went back to bed.
No power also means no water. Outage lasted between 5 & 6 hours; our co-op posted pictures of one of the snapped poles they had to replace.
Hope you have a good amount of water stashed somewhere. We can do ok without electricity here, but water doesn’t get out of the well without the pump, so we keep a stash.
One of the first things I do is to drain the pipes into containers for water to drink before someone forgets and flushes the toilet.
