Democrat Party appointees for the Secretary of State is one of their most dangerous moves and must be fought at all costs.
The Secy of State controls “elections” as Rep. Sen. Norman Coleman (R-Minn) learned the hard way (Al Franken and the mysterious appearance of enough votes to give Franken an election he was losing).
Secy of State of Minnesota (Mark Ritchie) has documented ties to the Communist Party of Minnesota (go to www.keywiki.org, search under his name and see the internal CP document that states this).
The same corruption and leftism applies to the SoS for Maryland, Virginia, California, possibly Wisconsin (unless there has been a change), Pennsylvania got rid of their State Attorney General ( possibly on her way to jail), etc.
Not only is it time to “drain the swamp” of Democrat corruption and crime, it is time to politically “bomb the holy crap” out of them with well-founded investigations with public “WatchDog” groups leading the way, aided by conservative and what few honest political moderates still exist.
Corruption runs so deep in Democrat controlled states/legislatures and major cities that you could make a career out of cleaning them out, while filling up the local pokies to the brim.
Investigative private citizens can also help a lot. Over the years I helped put a major U.S. government figure and his wife in jail for contract corruption, got three communist journalists (including one who was a suspected KGB operative) booted off of major newspapers/networks, and helped destroy the “credibility” of a major Democratic representative by publicly exposing his lies about U.S. military operations (fortunately a then moderate/conservative major city newspaper and a local ethnic one published my research in time to cost him his reelection. This ex-congressman then went on to become a lobbyist for one of America’s enemy countries.)
You can do it. It takes time, knowledge, joint efforts esp in sharing knowledge, determination, and an attitude of “get the f*ck out of my political body, you corrupt POS”.
Some of us have focused on the documented/photographed ties of U.S. congressmen/women with our enemies from the old Soviet Union, Red Cuba and now Red China, to ties with Libya, the communist guerrillas in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Chavez’s/Maduro’ Venezuela, Bolivia, FARC in Colombia, the Marxist former leaders of Jamaica and Guyana (Cheddi Jagan and his communist American wife), the Greek Marxists who followed the junta, and even Tito in the once Yugoslavia, not to mention those in the Hanoi Lobby from the various anti-Vietnam protest organizations (led by the US Communists - several parties), to Medical Aid for Indochina (a communist aid organization for Hanoi, the VC, the Pathet Lao and possibly the Cambodian communists directed by Hanoi).
So much treason, so little prosecution, but now TIME IS ON OUR SIDE AND REVENGE IS SWEET. THE JAILS AIN’T HALF FILLED YET!
Saddle up and charge! We can clean out the political outhouses of America but it is going to take some guts, time, hardwork and a lot of Ex-Lax.

Your comparison with of the ISS to Minnesota’s Secretary of State is not valid.
The Illinois Secretary of State handles many licensing and record keeping functions including drivers licensing. The only thing it really has to do with elections is the filing of petitions for candidacy. It does have sweeping authority in many areas but not that much as other states S of S do when it come to elections. Illinois has a separate entity a bi-partisan Board of Elections which run its elections.
One of the big hurdles Illinois faces is our Attorney General, Lisa Madigan.
She is daughter to our speaker and the most corrupt political machine boss - Michael Madigan.
He’s untouchable without the feds getting involved.
