I went when I was younger few times and the food wasn’t bad and the girls were great to look at.
Food is meh... it is in all those breastaurants... they rely on old men who aren’t getting enough attention at home leering at young women for their livelihood.
I remember being dragged into a hooters back in my 20s.... I went out riding for the day on my motorcycle with my step father and his friends they were all in their 40s or 50s and that’s where they all wanted to go.. it was ridiculous... I was the only member of our party nearly in the age range of the wait staff... and they of course ogled like dogs, and I just felt like I should be apologizing to the waitress.. I know she knows what her job is, flirt with the customers, titilate and get tips... but it was beyond embarrassing. I seriously felt like I was with a bunch of old men who wanted to be in a strip club but were afraid their wives would beat them if they actually went.
I knew what those girls had to put up with had to be bad, and that was long before the ever famous undercover boss hooters episode showed what exactly goes on in those places, even without the customers involved.
Hooters is basically cleavage and hot pants... people don’t go there for the food no matter how much they tell their gf or wife or whatever that’s why they go... They cover that up, they’ll be out of business... And honestly around here none of them ever lasted more than a few years no matter what... of course some other breastaurant shows up and runs for a few years before it too closes... but honestly... if all you have are scantily clad women as your hook, you basically have nothing but an easily repeatable concept, and no market differentiation.
If the food is good, you don’t need nipple rings, cleavage and camel toe to stay in business as a restaurant.
I had a neighbor who worked at Hooters for a while. She was of Argentine lineage and a total smoking hot babe! Her father was a doctor and had cut her allowance because of her outrageous spending so she said I will show you and got a job at Hooters which sent him into high earth orbit. She didn’t last long there and ended up at a strip club and last I heard she owned a bar/strip club.
I haven’t seen her in years but every time I run into her she is always friendly and sweet and pretty as ever. She looked smoking in the Hooters uniform!
