Just received a text that Tad Cummins was arrested and teen found safe. More to come...
Frightening isn't it? I fear more for my grandchildren today than when my children were young. There is most certainly moral decay in every facet of life. We are told by the left not to be judgemental- just be "mental" I guess.
She obviously was not in her right mind and the scumbag guy had a profound influence upon her. One of a number of worst nightmares of mine being a father. I would punch a guy like this in a heartbeat when I saw him in court.
Glad Elizabeth was found safe. Teacher didnt seem like a killer, just an old man who lost his way. Now sent her home, and lock him up and throw away the key.
Your children are blessed to have you as their father. I suspect you would raise a daughter to be wary of such a pedophile.

This incident is a good example of why parents should keep total track of anything their under-18 kids do online, with a cellphone-anything-a 15 year old is not a child in the same sense as a kid who has not yet reached puberty, but they don’t have good judgment skills yet and certainly can be easily influenced by stalkers, men who like underage girls-even the worst of all-human traffickers...

a while. He is 50 yrs. old; she is 15.
Young teens with hormones raging need extra protection. It is often when parents spend LESS time with them and give them too much freedom. They don’t understand the world. They are learning from all around them that the world is not the way they thought it was when they were 10. How much of the safe, honest, loving world story they learned as protected children is to be thrown out?
Along comes a TEACHER or position of authority (priest, rabbi etc) to explain to them how the world REALLY is. They can fall for that. He (or she) seduces them and grooms them and they just don’t have enough common sense or logic at 15 EVER in which to make safe judgments.
Trust me. I know this first hand.

More likely I'd criticize the parents for not monitoring the girl's email. However, the girl and the teacher used draft files to send romantic messages and then deleted them once having read them. So the parents had no idea.
The sneaky email scheme they used says both the girl and the teacher knew what they were doing was wrong.
No ones blaming her for what happen seems to me it is most likely a 50 50 proposition.

A couple weeks ago a young woman — in her 20s, I think — told how when she was in school the same guy had been grooming her for God-knows-what. The guy is a disgusting pig.
I don't think we are getting all the details of this situation. According to the foreign newspapers the girl's mother had lost custody of her because of abuse allegations.
Whether those allegations are true or the little 15 y.o. made them up, we don't know. She could be a psychopath. Plus rumor has it she is pregnant.
