If it’s as good for hand held weapons as the rifle was it will be a success................
The AK isn’t a “good” rifle by any standard, unless “cheap”,”idiot-proof” and “moderately reliable” and are your only criteria!
Notice I left out “accurate,” “easy to maintain” and “well-made” .....
Oh, and by the by, dangling participles are something up with which, I will not put!
Well, it has a whole lot more competition than the AK47 had. At a price point of $150 it may sell if it’s accuracy is on par an AK47 and the competition now.
It looks a little big for concealment.
