Also, Vader WAS injured during his duel with Luke (or have you forgotten that at one point in the duel, Luke managed actually cut Vader in the arm right before severing Luke’s saber arm?), and he also WAS using long broad sword strokes specifically designed to be countered in The Empire Strikes Back. Last I checked, Vader won that duel.
I never said Vader wasn’t injured, because I never talked about the Empire duel. We were talking about the trench battle in 4 when Han shot Vader’s ship. By the time we get Empire Luke’s actually got some training. And while Vader technically won the duel in that he was less injured, Luke didn’t join him and got away. So at best that one’s a draw, though I can make the case Vader lost in the long run.
