Thought it well past time to get a 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs discussion thread going, now just 2 games into the 2017 Playoffs.
Bruins just won in the 30th minute of OT. Some game.
My bracket is busted, picked with the heart, I should have known from the world cup; usually pick favorites but some of my picks may still work out.
The guy just has a knack for coming up big in the post season, everywhere he’s been. Good thing the Caps PK was clicking, and hope someone reminds them they better not give the Leafs another 4 chances on the PP in front of their home crowd.

My only interest now is keeping the Cup from the Hosers.

3-3 now, and overtime, Wild are all the same in a slump and snakebit, I see STL taking this. Then, I don’t think the rest will be of help to Nashville; St. Louis has been playing very well all the same. The Wild have defeated the Blues in the playoffs I think the last two years at least; so, the Blues look good here.
Especially in OT, when one team is on the brink of elimination. Last night's Double OT between the Bruins and the Senators was classic!
All of the teams have Canadians on them. I don’t quite have that attitude.
16 OT games in this first round so far, the record is 17; they said that during the game. It doesn’t seem like that many.
Congrats Blues, now go on to play the Predators.
I had Chicago in the Finals so my bracket was done days ago.
Here at home we are doing it series by series with an extra point for number of games.
I had the Blues in 6. So I at least have a share of the lead with 3 points.
Blues have a good team; now I see TJ Oshie’s last name is Native American, he doesn’t look full blooded; but I’ve always enjoyed his play for team USA and when he was with the Blues, now he is with the Capitals. This game, both games later tonight should be good.
That said, I can never get enough of watching Ovechkin score goals.

I saw the Blues had about 4 or 5 Russians on their roster and a few of them were kicking some serious stuff out there.
Until when? 1985, 1990, we hardly saw Russians play; the NHL was jammed with Canadians and the Golden Jet, Bobby Orr and so on were all Canadians. I’m not for Canada either but I don’t really hold anything against them.

Bruins fans did this before, even throwing projectiles at the NBC crew videotaping an interview. Bunch of babies.
