Although this article is from the Washington Compost, I get a bad feeling we are heading toward a Bush III administration. I have only seen that Goldman Sachs, Gary Kohn in one interview supporting RINOCare and I did not like what I saw. As they used to say in the military, I hope Trump did not receive a lobotomy when he took the oath of office. I think Sean Hannity said when he talked to GW privately when he was leaving office aren't you worried what will happen with Obama. GW said don't worry he won't be able to change much. Are we back to the statusBushquo?

I am centrist on some issues, but I don’t know if Trump is going to abandon some of his core campaign issues.

“President Trump is abandoning a number of his key campaign promises on economic policy, adopting instead many of the centrist positions he railed against while campaigning as a populist.”

I think this is a fair observation.

Yet, his policies are still not fully at the prior Uniparty level, e.g. TPP and NAFTA.

I think most people knew this would be the case.

And, to me, the great things, the WINNING is in climate change policy, energy policy and the like which he is coming through on.

It’s just never enough with some people.

President Trump has worked his tail off ever since he got into office, carrying out his campaign promises, enraging Democrats and the liberal media alike, and yet, there are Trump supporters who are still whining and fearful that he will turn into another RINO.

Just because the man has realized that it’s a lot easier to to declare war on the federal government in a campaign rally than it is to wage war on the federal government as president, doesn’t mean that he’s any less committed to shrinking its size and influence in our lives.

However way he chooses to reach his goals and pass his agenda, through negotiations and alliances, I know that without doubt, he will seek the well-being of this nation first in all of his decisions.

Stop falling for the liberal media’s attempts to turn you from supporting President Trump. It’s like Rush said, they can’t stop his agenda, so their only hope is to turn the public away from him.

Well, it’s not going to work with me and my family, because we are beyond amazed at what he has accomplished in such a short time and we couldn’t possibly be more proud of him.

Maybe President Trump was able to get General Secretary Xi Jinping to agree to stop manipulating their currency in their recent meeting. If so there would be no reason to call them out on it any more.

well, it seems in terms of foreign intervention things are not going as expected. i too am disappointed about this and the stories about bannon. however, trump has been delivering on some of his promises (see below) so consider those before abandoning support for him.

restoration of the Mexico City policy, the ending of federal grants to the United Nations Population Fund, which promotes and abortion and sterilization, the successful nomination of Neal Gorsuch as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court despite fierce opposition from the Left, the rollback of environmental regulations that have nothing to do with the quality of air and water, the freeze on all federal hiring outside of the military, the abandonment of the Obama administration’s absurd drive to force the states to accept “transgender” bathroom use in public facilities, cancelling the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, approving the Dakota Access and Keystone pipelines, the administrative rollback of Obamacare pending its repeal, the order to begin construction of the border wall, and the continuous negotiations that have persuaded numerous companies, both domestic and foreign, to invest in new plants in America.

Fake news. The objective is to divide Trump’s supporters and weaken his ability to achieve his agenda. These stories are meant to sow discord. It won’t work.

Many here are confusing tactics with policy objectives. Trump, not naming China a currency manipulator on day one, represents a change in tactics, not an abandonment of his intention to ultimately address
the problem.

It`s all about leverage. Trump has a number of policy objectives he`s trying to achieve with China. But they can`t all be done at once.

I think some of the things that he’s ‘changing’ on are simple realities like not unnecessarily provoking the Chinese when we’re relying on them to deal with the very real threat of North Korea. Donald Trump has done some really good things (think his Cabinet and Gorsuch, etc) and I believe he will continue to do so.
