I refuse to fly if I can get a way with it. Just talked to my sister. She laughed saying she told her husband, “Well, I guess she's (me) never going to fly again.” I offered to fly them from Ft. Lauderdale to Chicago at their risk. ; )

I used to fly quite a bit for business. When I got out of that job I decided that unless it was life or death I would never fly domestically again. I had been flying since the 1970's and, while it was never a joy, it was tolerable. I did not even mind getting bumped as the rewards they offered were adequate for the annoyance.

Now they seem to go out of their way to make your travel as miserable as possible.
