..... In a very terse but loaded statement, Trump downplayed Bannon's importance in crafting his 2016 campaign strategy and effectively offered him an ultimatum to clear up his issue with Jared Kushner or move on.....
...If Bannon goes, there's no one of similar status in the White House who has the status to push the nationalist agenda to Trump and more centrist figures are already ascendant (Jivanka, Gary Cohn). Without Bannon's voice, this becomes a much more conventional White House. It would be an acute normalizing of the staff, although no one can normalize Trump....
....Of course, ousting Bannon is not without consequence for Trump. Bannon remains very popular at Breitbart and his ouster would likely be viewed as a move by Trump to the center which would almost certainly alienate his nationalist base in the Midwest.....

But at the same time it is not the Kushner show either. We didn’t elect him, but everyone in that White House is essentially subordinate to daddy’s girl’s hubby. It’s not good no matter how works out.
He told the NY Post. Are you holding out for a personal phone call?
Why wasn’t Maria question being about kushner not getting along with Bannon? Why is Trump mentioning Bannon and not the dirtbag son in law? If kirshnuts can’t get along with Bannon, show him the door.
Jeez, lighten up a bit. Or maybe just change your user name to “Tuesday Group”.
The names “Bannon” and “Kushner” have no actual meaning to me.
They are words in stories designed to dived and conquer.
I’ve never seen either, don’t know either, and never will know either.
The terms have no meaning or value outside of being used as weapons by the enemy.
Stop reading and posting useless crap like this. You are being used.
The avenue and method of mind control and suggestion is social.
Shut down the avenue and method. Stop participating in it. Block their access and shut of their power.
You are relaying it, spreading it and adding to it.
Stop.
Trump referred to Bannon several times in this NY Post interview.
You didn't vote for Bannon, either. Trump was the Trump we know and love before Bannon ever joined the team, even if he brought a lot to the table after he bailed on the loser Cruz and joined up.
He told Kushner the same thing?
For starters do you know some reason why that mag might try to elicit an unbalanced story (or even edit it such) from Donald?
Be alert.
Makes no difference.
The words “Bannon” and “Kushner” mean absolutely nothing to me.
Trump is president, and Trump is going to do whatever trump is going to do.
The soap opera of palace intrigue means nothing.
Someone who isn’t my friend wants me to think via using those words that Trump is betraying me.
I completely agree. However, Trump isn’t the puppet of his daughter of Kushner. He is analytical to the extreme and considers opposing opinions. However, this Bannon must stay or Kushner must go crap should end. Trump has a handle on it.
As well, you don’t solve complex problems by looking at them from a singular angle.
Trump said this on TV this morning. That’s one leaker you can’t do anything about.
IMHO, odds are they’re just making this stuff up as they go along. It’s just the sort of “palace intrigue” story that is the basis of countless costume dramas on the BBC and PBS.
I can for sure say I didn’t vote for Ivanka and Pee Wee Kushner.
I don’t know that I believe this crap anymore.
sorry, I misremembered, it was not Trump on TV it was Trump to the NYPost
Far beneath me to comment on such erroneous hyperbole.
“I heard it through the grapevine.
How much longer will he be mine?”
Consider the “messenger.” We would do well to develop asbestos hair. It doesn’t get on fire!
But who are "you guys"?
Jivanka. That’s funny but true.
It appears Trump is trying to run Bannon off.
