New information has been released about the doctor who was forcibly removed from the United Airlines flight 3411.
According to information retrieved from TMZ, Dr. David Dao had his license suspended in February of 2005 after he was found to have been illegally prescribing and trafficking drugs in exchange for sexual favors.
Several medical board documents indicate that Dao denied paying for sex, but did accepted sexual favors from an associate in exchange for reducing a debt the associate owed him.
Dr. was charged with 98 felony drug counts for illegally prescribing and trafficking hydocodone, Oxycontin and Percocet but was only convicted on 6 counts.

This story is fake.
“Totally irrelevant”...........
While I agree, his devious past has nothing to do with being physical dragged off that plane. United is in trouble over this one, despite what crimes the doctor committed outside of that airplane.
Who cares? Those aren’t reasons for the matter to have gotten so far out of hand on the plane.
Doesn't matter. He must be destroyed, if only as a lesson to others.
Perception is reality.
So, who gave out his ID???? Lawsuit for breach of privacy??
No. The doctor in question was disciplined years ago, and his license is restored, and he is allowed to practice medicine. He currently practices medicine. Good doctor, bad doctor, person you don’t want keeping your kids, etc. This is not the issue; this is a smear campaign designed to rehabilitate United Airlines’ damaged reputation. This man was not dragged off that flight because of his past sins: He was dragged off because he didn’t comply with being forced to give up his seat for a United employee. For $800. Last time I flew, I was flying to my youngest daughter’s college graduation. She graduated with honors in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Her dad is dead, and I’m the only parent. Had they tried to drag ME off that plane, there would have been even MORE blood AND a lawsuit.
Well then obviously the guy deserved to be beaten to a bloody pulp and dragged off the plane so a stewardess could avoid driving four hours.
That has nothing to do with the situation. It does in my mind but I do not think it matters in this case. Anyway America has lost all of its so called Common Sense anyway it appears.

$800 in UAL Monopoly Money, which is worth about $200 in actual cash.
Not if they had the legal right to remove him.
Sure, that follows the logic of all the "look, he was once arrested for marijuana possession, that proves the cop was in the right!" stories we seemingly get here after each national controversy involving a police officer shooting somebody.
This is irrelevant. Publishing it aids the fascists at united and the chicago police.
It was not overbooked.
So according to that it was okay in the end that he was tossed off a flight where he paid for his seat; not the fact that he was tossed because Untied needed the space for some crew member. Now Untied feels justified in tossing him because, see, he did whatever he did twelve years ago.
It may have been legal, but there is an old saying; “You can be right, or you can be happy”. United chose “right”, and now they are not happy. Tough: They can just deal with it. My guess is that for the near future they will have some extra seats available. Just in case they need them for higher priority passengers.
Here's a clue for United Airlines: Next time, maybe try bumping passengers BEFORE BOARDING THEM.
Or hey, United Airlines, the fact that you do such a lousy job managing your flights that you have to bump passengers after they've boarded, next time, give some REAL incentives to bump passengers WHO HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN IN THEIR SEATS. Like real cash, not your stupid Monopoly Money vouchers (that are worth about 1/4 of what you say they are) that one can only use on limited red-eye flights. And if you don't have takers after upping the ante (which you didn't do beyond what other airlines do BTW), then when you do your STUPID "random" bump and someone doesn't want to play, re-do the "random" bump and bump someone else.
But I don't care, United Airlines. I hope after this fiasco you go the way of Arthur Andersen.
Don’t make no never mind,United AL is going to pay him a “Hugh” chunk a change.
who gives a sh8t
