If it was me..I would get out and go work for Mercers. Bannon will have knives in his back at every turn from the lib faction.

This establishes a bad precedent.
I think Bannon must stay in the WH as long as Trump will have him and as long as he can stand it. He is badly needed by our nation. Even if he finds his influence reduced (I hope not), he should stay the course for whatever role he can play. And who knows, in months and years to come, something may change for the better. He may find new avenues and opportunities. Jared may tire of playing at govt and go back to NYC. Jared may screw up and lose ground with Pres. Trump. Lots of possibilities.
I for one will hate it if Bannon leaves this WH for any reason. He represents many of our views more reliably than anyone else on the staff.
