The lesser two risks are Trump and Cruz.
I don’t like Cruz. I don’t like his insider connections while claiming to be an outsider. At least Trump owns up to his political expedient actions.
Chad Sweet was also involved with the Cruz campaign for Senate. Former Director of CIA and NSA had already become a Principal at Sweet’s firm by then. Cruz is no outsider

After decades of anti-American presidents we have a pro-America president. It’s not perfect but good things are happening daily & I expect they will continue.

You may not like Cruz, but I’ve been in the intelligence business for 40 years and I’ve been unable to identify a single former director of NSA (who are always military officers) or CIA that are affiliated with the Chertoff Group in any way. To whom are you referring?

Bannon - Damned by faint praise. I think we all know what “I’ll straighten it out” really means and it doesn’t mean Jared goes or gets a more limited role...
I haven’t taken a position on Bannon’s standing. I’m cautioning you to avoid using the topic of Bannon and Kushner to create a larger narrative about Trump failing.

I have to agree with you and RummyChick. Trump was quoted today saying basically l was winning without Bannon.. more distance. I think it is obvious now Bannon is hanging by a thread at best. And no tax cuts before Obongo care R&R. This is Jared and his Rat partner Cohn (aka carbon tax Cohn). Jared’s gang is in charge and our guys are in the press car. So some form of Obongo care stays, we will be lucky to get any tax relief and it will probably come with a carbon tax because of Cohn who is for it. It would probably take 2nd term killing screw up to take down the Prince and by that time Bannon will probably be gone.

It certainly was the case that Trump had the Republican nomination sewn up by August 2016, when Bannon joined the campaign. He (Trump) did not, however, have the national election sewn up until after Conway and Bannon joined the campaign. In my opinion, the two of them gave him some conservative creds and solidified his populist message, which, in turn, pretty much cemented his win.
