It makes it much more than a 50/50 proposition if we trust the man we elected President. Thus far, there is absolutely no reason not to, and indeed ample reason for trusting him.

Precisely. And all we've seen so far is evidence that totally repudiates such a notion. So, again, those who would "err" on that side are exposing their latent NeverTrump tendencies.

Yes, trust is what puts me on Trump's side. It's only the evidence that the average guy like me can see and assess that I characterized as 50/50. Or more like 00/00. I have no evidence before me either way.

I agree 100%. I've been asked why I didn't support 0bozo when he threatened the same thing. Because I absolutely distrusted everything he said and did even when it appeared to be the right thing to do. IMO Trump says what he means and means what he says. 0bozo didn't. Ever. For that assessment of their respective characters I have been accused of Cult of Personality worship of Trump. I guess trusting a man, when no reason exists not to, is cult worship.

When I voted for Trump I trusted him to keep his campaign promise to not get us involved in Syria and not get us into a confrontation with Russia over Syria. That trust has been broken.
