If it doesn’t make sense, maybe he didn’t DO it...
I find no one credible about events in Syria at this point.
Who can forget Saddam Hussein and Bush's lies of WMD?
Thought jihadis were on run, losing everywhere. Now they’re winning?
This sounds like Fake News to me.
I thought thanks to the Russians Assad was winning
As in all things Trump...his response is:
instantaneous....direct....devastating....and unpredictable.
Well maybe not quite so instantaneous nor devastating.....but good non the less.
A good Belgrano moment.
U.S. officials, friends and aides, Trump and his team, Syria experts, senior administration official...
Uhhhh....Okay...
Assad did not do this...
In Assad’s mind the ISIS is embedded in the community. You know for a fact that terrorists hide among the innocent populations.
Dunno why anyone would be surprised that Assad used chem weapons on Idlib. He herded defeated al Qaeda there and now he’s eliminating them Auschwitz fashion. This is something like the seventh gas attack in Syria since 2013.
It’s not easy for a Westerner to comprehend the use of terror to manipulate a populace.
VERY easy for a Muslim, however.
It’s cheap, effective and traditional. It’s the *first* choice.
Assad was winning. He had no reason to use gas. And as far as we actually know, he didn’t.
We have American Soldiers in Syria.
Could be Assad was sending us a message.
Could be he got an answer.
The man needs to go with his ample gut.
Assad needs to ask for a refund for the dud WMDs. All the risk, negative press, international outrage and military pushback involved with using them and all he achieves is 83 killed and ? wounded? Kind of weird we haven’t been given any actual number on the wounded. But hey, that’s what we’re being told.
The ones with the most to gain by such an attack is ISIS. I thought Trump was smarter than to get suckered into doing the globalists’ bidding by keeping us in perpetual war, but it sounds like he may be falling into their trap.
According to most report Assad just got done slaughtering the rebel offensive days before the chemical weapons where used. The rebels lost over 2,000 troops and were in retreat. Someone is lying to Trump.
Are they saying the POTUS is asking these questions now?
Ok. this makes me far more reassured ...I wasn’t big on the strike but... but i see the questions I was asking asked.by Trump ..
Why would Assad do this now (seems like a damn stupid move) and to be skeptical of the intel considering what’s been going on with certain people on the Intel community and Trump.... I’m going to have faith in Trump on this one
And I also get the sense now from this that this is in fact a one-off stri. It was a message... it was an opportunity to send a message to China about getting North Korea on a leash and for Russia to get Syria on a leash
I’m seeing a pragmatic decision
