Chechyna has opened the first concentration camp for homosexuals since Hitler, where campaigners say gay men are being tortured with electric shocks and beaten to death.
It comes after it was claimed 100 gay men had been detained and three killed in Chechnya last week.
A report by Novoya Gazeta said authorities had set up several camps where homosexuals are killed or forced to promise to leave the republic.
One of the camps is reportedly at the former military headquarters in the town of Argun.

You are quite right, to the point of confiscation of possessions after they were executed. Fits right in with the Islamic culture being still in the middle ages.

Remember how many people cheered plucky Chechnya for fighting Russia? It aint working out too well.
I figured a lot of them would actually enjoy the first part.....the second part...uhhhhh, not so much.
So was pissing off your masters and following the wrong religion. Thankfully, America fought a revolution over individual rights and the proper role of government, and we put all that behind us.
All the insulting radical positions the LGBT community has take these past years have done wonders to build solidarity with the rest of us. “Hell No I Won’t Go” is going to roll off the tongue easily.
Take over the country and build a prison there for the most devout Islamists. Staff the prison with queers.

False (im-)moral equivalency:
Even assuming your assertion on its face, that does not equal concentration camps.
I remember they started them, did not know they still had them all these decades later!
The Chechens I have met are radically Islamicized and evil murderers. I pray for some of them when I remember, because they are on a course with hellfire.
I wasn’t dealing in equivalency. My point was simply, we have allowed a so called known deviancy to become a human right, and made legal by edict of man, when the history would indicate homosexuality was condemned by the Christian God for very good and valid reasons perhaps not all fully understood by man. Those conditions have allowed the deviancy to flourish and become a curse to a formerly more moral society. Just an expression of my personal viewpoint. I am not an historian.
The fact that it is condemned in the Islamic world, is in my opinion truly ironic considering some of the known practices.
