I wasn’t dealing in equivalency. My point was simply, we have allowed a so called known deviancy to become a human right, and made legal by edict of man, when the history would indicate homosexuality was condemned by the Christian God for very good and valid reasons perhaps not all fully understood by man. Those conditions have allowed the deviancy to flourish and become a curse to a formerly more moral society. Just an expression of my personal viewpoint. I am not an historian.
The fact that it is condemned in the Islamic world, is in my opinion truly ironic considering some of the known practices.
