I think it’s true that the Russians were beginning to find Assad a bit of an embarrassment, and in addition, weren’t happy with his slowness and inefficiency in driving out ISIS (theoretically, the whole reason for leaving him in power). So maybe he really did mean this as a message to them.
Assuming that he did it, of course. One problem is that our intelligence services are so corrupted it’s hard to trust their analyses, and one wonders if they aren’t manipulating things to get the reaction and policy result they want.
Sarin? In viewing the vids of first responders, it is important to note a complete lack of HAZMAT gear associated with nerve agents. No Tyvec, no gloves, respirators, no protective gear whatsoever. In fact the vids show “responders” wearing tee shirts and sandals!
So... what’s the takeaway here? Stock film footage of some other event? A ruse? Or MSM fakery?
