Talk about making lemons out of lemonade. On CNN today Josh Rogin tried his best to paint President Trumps decision to order strikes against Syria in the worst possible light.
The CNN analyst made the claim that by ordering the strikes, Trump burned all his supporters in spectacular fashion.
Its true that some prominent supporters, notably Ann Coulter, are displeased. But all Trumps supporters? Or even most of them? Surely, a significant majority of people who support Trump support the strikes.

For a retarded moron, yes.
And yes, I'm disappointed in the attack. I don't think the Syrian government was guilty, and certainly they were not proven guilty, and even if they were it's not within our power to fix it and it's not within our business to dish out punishment beatings to governments around the world. It's important to look tough, but it looks like we murdered some people on an airbase just so that we could look tough.
You could just use the Saudis statement. ISIS is their sons.
Outside of conventional or nuclear means, I would not use chemical weapons or biological agents on ISIS as they are completely unpredictable in their potential collateral damage. An airburst nuke doesn’t create fallout, thus weather has little or no effect and the expected casualties would be known based on the potential blast radius.
“ISIS assistance plan.”
You really think Trump is assisting ISIS? ISIS is peeing their pants.
If I were you I’d look for the lost “r”. It must be around somewhere.
You can always address me directly instead of in a sideways manner.
For the record Trisha, I still support Trump.
Just not blindly.
The supporters Trump burned (like me) don’t have anywhere to go. Support Hillary and the Democrats? They’re even more war crazed. It was a very safe and smart political move as much as I hate it.
Google it and find out for yourself. I’ll give you a clue it occurred in 1986.
There has never been a weapon forged by man that I wouldn’t use on those bugs. We melted thousands of Japanese babies and they were civilised as hell in comparison. We bombed the wrong side. I still love Trump, but this was a poor decision.
No need.
Tough to dialog with Insult the comic dog.
A steaming pile...
Oh, so DC Establishment of you! I stand in awe of your nuanced position!
Yes, we just helped ISIS.
Bottom line, many think that Trump did the right thing in bombing the air strip and buildings nearby where the planes that delivered the gas came from.
Were Russian soldiers killed? I have no idea.
It also puts an end to the DNC memo that Trump was in collusion with Putin. The dems will need a new DNC lie campaign to replace that one since it was obviously a lie.
Anyone here who can read the future and know what is going to happen tomorrow and the next day in the region should be running the country since it's very hard to do.
I support the President and see him as our very best hope since Ronald Reagan.I continue to do so.
Others think there was a lot of interference in this strike.

I didn’t vote for regime change in Syria. That was Hillary’s platform. Which is why Hillary is now praising Trump’s action - as is McCain, another regime-change addict.
Thanks for your post. Makes good sense and I believe it.
“its great to have a President with a spine again.”
Trump’s show of “spine” is being applauded by Hillary. No wonder: She showed “spine” by regime-changing Libya. Now we’re going to regime-change Syria? Sorry if I can’t join you, Hillary and McCain in celebrating.
The right has had this problem for years. They have no patience, no ability to see the forest for the trees, and yet still have the nerve to look down their nose on the left, whom demonstrates the ability to display all of the traits necessary to win in the long-term while the right wonders why they get nowhere.
Brilliant post.
Very good analysis!
