I don’t have the will to poke someone’s eye. Too much empathy. I don’t know if all the training in the world could allow me to use that as a tactic. I don’t know if you are born with the ability to gouge someone’s eye or if the training is just that good. I know the training is that good, I just think it takes a certain person — certain mentality. I have way too much empathy with how the other party feels to do something like that on just a challenge without my life literally being on the line.
I mean how do you train for that. Do the special forces line up cadavers and you practice gouging them in the eye? How the heck do you train for that, poke dogs in the eye?
