Doesn’t change the fact. We have not been in a war that we understand, but Islam and Communism has been striking out at us for decades, and in order to live a free, capitalist life we will need to face these things at some point.
I hope this war is about money, frankly. If we do go up against China and Russia I want my kids to reap the rewards in the form of a stable dollar.

There is no winning in Syria as it stands. Neither side is worth supporting, but both will need to be replaced. That said, this is the same mistake Bush made.
