The biggest catch, so far, went to Patrick Campbell who caught a python measuring 15 feet, 10 inches and weighing 135 pounds, according to the South Florida Water Management District. The second largest catch was made by Nicholas Banos and trapping partner Leonardo Sanchez whose python measured 15 feet, 2 inches and weighed 144 pounds.... Twenty five people are taking part in the python hunt that began in late March and runs until June. They are paid $8.10 per hour, for up to eight hours a day, and get extra money depending on the length of the snake thats caught.

I like that plan, but my wife is in Florida right now.
Can you hold off a few days?

“FWS and SFWMD want to manage the snakes rather than eradicate them.”

$8 a pound bounty for a year open to those with special license and the big snake problem would go away.

I have the Ruger “Police Service Six” .357 Magnum hand cannon with Pachmayr grips. It feels like an extension of my arm when in hand. Pure steel heaven.

I’d like to try my Grandma’s beer batter recipe she used for catfish...
Cut python into right size chunks, into the batter and fry at 375 degree peanut oil...
For chicken she used to use a beaten egg wash, and then roll chicken in corn flake crumbs and crushed red pepper, then deep fry...With Tabasco or Frank’s Red Hot on the side...
Mmm, Mmm, Good!

The leash with the collar! Out
standing. I'm sure the no-leg lizard is overjoyed with the 25-lb. snack astride its back as it drags itself across the tar. What are these people thinking?
While not the fastest snakes extant, when these boogers decide to wrap up and squeeze something, their strength is incredible, and there really isn't much to grab onto to unwrap 'em. Foolishly fraught with impending peril, but nonetheless fun to watch. LOL.
