The whole point of King Arthur is that he was native British, not Saxon.

I've seen some of the early trailers. Thomas Malory is not in da house.

“Excalibur” is fantastic, but the “King Arthur” with Clive Owen and Kiera Knightly is right up there...if any of the potential history surrounding the actual characters is close to being true.

Compare The Who Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 with The Song Remains the Same.

The Who would have blown Zep off the stage.

Heck, even Grand Funk Railroad blew them off the stage, which is why Peter Grant threatened GFR’s manager and forced them off of the tour.

After Monty Python’s version, that’s the one I like best.

“I think that anachronism, and the Wagner music, added to the fairy tale atmosphere of the movie.”

Agreed. Excalibur also put Orff on the map in American pop culture, too. Within the next decade it was opening sports events and in a popular techno dance track.

Clarification: “it” = “O Fortuna”

Quadrophenia?

Ever heard of it?

Suggest you blow the dust off the cover and listen to it front to back.

Led Zeppelin is nothing but a high octane blues cover band with mud shark issues.

Nothing wrong with Zep’s studio albums, but they were not a great live band.

Compare The Who Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 with The Song Remains the Same.

The jams on Live at Leeds are phenomenal as well

We're knights of the round table
We dance whene'er we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impeccable.
We dine well here in Camelot
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot.
We're knights of the Round Table
Our shows are formidable
But many times we're given rhymes
That are quite unsingable
We're opera mad in Camelot
We sing from the diaphragm a lot.
In war we're tough and able.
Quite indefatigable
Between our quests we sequin vests
And impersonate Clark Gable
It's a busy life in Camelot.

SINGLE MAN

I have to push the pram a lot.

The Isle of Wight version of “Young Man Blues” blows away the Live at Leeds version.

The whole point of King Arthur is that he was native British, not Saxon.

Which perfectly explains Kevin Costner playing Arthur. /s

Anything that includes the mighty LED ZEPPELIN is worth the price of admission

Just as long as it doesn't include any insipid ballads by Bryan Adams.

LOL! At least Errol Flynn was mostly Irish (via Australia) which makes it sort of related. In fact, I don't think I should mention Errol Flynn without a picture.

Sigh. So lovely, such a rotter.

compare any Led Zeppelin concert from 1970 to the garbage produced by the who the same year and you’ll walk away embarrassed by your post...

sh!t- the who could only dream of producing anything close to How The West Was Won...
