there were three of them and they entered an occupied home dressed in all black with gloves and masks on in the middle of the night with deadly weapons while the occupants slept.

It was fair and it was more than just stupid what they did. They crossed the line.

“The grandfather of one of three suspects killed during the alleged March 27 home invasion in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, says the use of an AR-15 against the suspects was “unfair.””

What is it with the word “unfair”? My son’s Bible teacher at school constantly tries to drill into the kids’ heads that a border wall is “unfair.”

As I tell my kids from birth on, a fair is a place with cotton candy and rides. If you don’t see cotton candy and rides in front of you, don’t be looking for “fair.”

"...I mean he shot all three of them; there was no need for that.”

Where was the need for them to break into his house?

No wonder we read stories like this. We have a segment of our population that actually believe that they are entitled to anything that they want and that they are above accountability.

How about it being unfair to steal sh*t that doesn’t belong to you, Gramps?

He would have gotten a head full of double ought in many other houses.

I am pretty sure grandpa would not want that.

His grandson had a chance, not to be a thief.

Grandpa would be happier if they’d been shot with a six-shooter.......

unfair

The only fair fight is the one I win. How's that for "fair".

Is there a “fair” way to invade a home and rob it?

At least it was a .223. If it'd been an M-1 or a M1-A his grandkid would have been in a closed casket ceremony.

Unfair? Sorry, but B&E is not a game, it is a crime. As war dictates, if you show up with a sword and the enemy has a tank, that is your fault.

These guys were armed with brass knuckles and knives.... this wasn’t just a ‘lets break into an unused place’. They came armed knowing they may need to hurt someone to commit their crime...

It’s amusing to hear the defenders of perps like these say things like “they were just going to rob the place; they weren’t going to hurt anybody” as if we should take the word of someone who has already broken the law by breaking and entering in the first place.

He said the use of the AR-15 meant “his grandson didn’t have a chance.” He said, “There’s got to be a limit to that law, I mean he shot all three of them; there was no need for that.”

It's an American tradition.
