For those who are not, It's a Survivor meets "Lord of the Flies" show. It features a bunch of snowflakes, a gangster wannabe, a surprisingly hardy Bernie gal and a Gadsden flag waving Christian alpha male. I have found it quite interesting.
Oops wrong post. Yes macody! I was so happy to see alonzo flare. I don’t believe for a minute that he did three tours.
Judge much? :)
If this person enjoys watching it, then they are not wasting “precious time”.
Seems like all of us typing now could be outside enjoying the fresh air.
Are we wasting “precious time”? :)
We totally bailed them out.
We totally bailed out the world.
And this is how they repay us?
Plenty.
Feel free to judge me for not watching garbage on TV.
And I have watched all 500+ episodes of Survivor. Makani & Cody need to be on the next MTV Challenge. Could do as well as the veterans.
Gone thru all the Columbos and almost finished the Perry Masons from the 50s and 60s. Now watching episodes of 77 Sunset Strip. Pretty decent stuff.
I’ve only watched the first episode. But that said, if you looked at it sensibly, you’ve got 4 days (or less, maybe sometimes more) at each camp. Blow the first hundred grand on matches, tents, machete and hatchet. Now you’re not blowing energy each camp building the same shelter over and over again, you’re saving energy on harvesting food and fuel, and you have a stable water source.
Or option two, you try to get them to buy nothing and hope you can outlast any of the snowflakes.
I’d go with the first scenario. Blowing 1/10th of the prize money on splurge purchases will get people to want to conserve money even further, and honestly, why make your life suck while waiting out the others whining themselves off the beach? Feed them, make them as comfortable in camp as possible, and they’ll still leave on their own.
There’s just too much opportunity for them to spend money on themselves or cost you money by not making the next camp on time. Out of that first hundred grand, $15k of it was lost, and the ‘power players’ gained nothing from it other than stronger snowflakes. Blow the money, no temptation, and you set the marks for the second camp.
Yeah. I’m surprised.
These shows were before my time, really. I was a kid when the original Columbo was on but never watched it.
Best show on Netflix at 2:00 am during an insomnia attack. It’s so stupid, it’s funny. Reminds me of my early childhood when I lived in a trailer park. Pretty sure I saw the same characters back then on a daily basis.
I see your logic but you have to watch a few more episodes. Cody wanted to wait to buy the necessities in order to force flares. It worked with the morons who gave up their shoelaces and ended up with ruined feet.
The rest of the snowflakes had their tent and numbers so they bought 3k burgers 15k worth of pizzas at every opportunity. So they were fine until they got too lazy to boil water.
Yeah. I’m not trying to make a personal attack either.
I have plenty of things to criticize about my own habits.
Now caught up, and wow... That’s some strangely confused people. ‘Don’t let x win’ - excuse me? What, are they supposed to push people off cliffs? All one has to do to ‘win’ is just not leave.
And probably the producers at this point are wondering what they can do to prop up the campers. Definitely one of them will be picked for the next temptation. I’m wondering, however, how many challenges they’re not showing us.
I think after the 1st challenge the producers realized that team macody would win all of them so they stopped. I can’t wait to see how big a can of whooparse gets opened on the campers. Macody has two jars of pb, a pound of rice and carrots. The campers have whatever is still stuck in their teeth from their last meal.
image of them tearing up money & burning is crazy, but is that all legal Us tender? And literally their winnings ? Reduced by torn & torched?
Recall end of that old Gilligan’s Island episode “Take a Dare”
I don’t remember that episode of GI. But from what I’m picking up from social media the money is a equivalent in weight but not real. Cody posted that he wasn’t allowed to keep the fire starting kit away from algina even though it was a group buy purchase. I guess we will have to wait to see if makody is allowed to keep the pot.
So, I doubt they would tear or burn real cash ( against the law) but we will so learn if it counts as a loss.
On GI, a man gameshow contestant was stranded “alone” on the island & had a transmitter / radio he tossed off cliff into water so castaways could not tell anyone they were there. When he returned home the castaways hear him learn the $10,000 was hidden inside the radio, and Mr Howell found the wet cash.
If you told me that I would be rooting for the guy fouling the drinking water at the beginning, I never would have believed you.
