Interesting.
Sorry I don’t have time to think about Trump, because I am thinking about how to service all the time!
I don’t know where I can find this kind of job.:(
Thank you for good words
What’s this?
You do not have a license to practice as an architect in the USA. Go look up ncarb. Then go back to school.
Beautiful. MAGA!
Yes I need go back to school if I want to be an architect here! :(
That is hilarious!
Thank you!
Definitely use www.indeed.com for your job searches.
Wow, cool, can I draw for you?
Yes, thank you!
Let me guess- MRI Machine in a zoo/ big cat sanctuary. Somebody there has a wicked sense of humor.

When designing a building........ use lots of glass
Glaziers will love you
My husband was an architect. I worked with him throughout all our marriage.
First, find a city or area where the economy is strong and growing. Texas, Minnesota, etc. Then look for firms that are seeking CAD operators. Get a foot in the door that way.
Another possibility is to seek out very small firms and try to get hired as a consultant to do drawings for individual projects. Many times very small firms, or those solo practice architects will hire consultants to meet the time pressure of a larger project.
Another idea is to try to find “corporate” work, and be a “house architect”. This could be with interior design firms, architectural signage manufacturers, large contractors who do design build projects using their own architect and engineers, or chain restaurants, mall operators, etc. Many of these have their own “house architects” for their work.
Then, there are city planners, who can be local or regional.
A far out idea for you, study up on Feng Shui, and set up your own little practice for small businesses, offices, residences, etc. You can work out of your home or apartment, but get some legal advice so you know how to properly pay your taxes quarterly, know what you can deduct legally, and what insurances you might need.
Best of luck to you, and welcome to Free Republic!

I looked up
how to get work illustrating textbooks
and there’s info for illustrating children’s books: look beyond the first few links. Your artwork is great; I saw some before, too.
Also, there are more and more Americans studying Chinese, you could tutor or work in a private school.
Also look on Craigslist for anything you can do.
