Plus, the Freedom Caucus will get a chance to vote on the final product that comes out of Senate and committees. If they don’t like the final completed bill they can torpedo it then. Why not let it go forward now and see what happens.
Something else is at hand. It’s not that this is bad bill. They don’t want Trump to have a victory and they are afraid of the tax bill that will follow. Koch Brothers don’t want a border tax.
You bring up a good point about the Koch Bros. They are establishment status quo all the way and they want to destroy Trump and his team. This makes governing much harder for Trump and pits GOP against GOP in a way that only the Democrats could love.
I believe it was O’reily who said the bad bill was generated from the K street lobby for the insurance companies. I wish the insurance companies could stay out of trying to “fix” the system for their own benefit. Ryan should be aware of this conflict of interest and move away from it.
The free market can only save us if we opt for the free market. Anything that resembles our usual “best law money can buy” approach is what is wrong.
